Some of it is the kind of thing someone might think they know (like the detail on how a fee is internally allocated), but its unlikely anyone has this firm a grip on it all, even beyond the software claims.

It's a very hard to justify project: it costs a ton, takes forever (you don't get much out of "half exiting" COBOL), requires deep understanding of all that load bearing COBOL, and at the end you don't make any more money by doing it.
