My current wheels are a 2016 Nissan Rogue ... thanks mom! She bought a white Qashqai, gifting me the blue Rogue ... Shadfly decals were put on this summer to advertise my SmallTownTimes.ca publishing company and Back in the Bay print magazine, a quarterly nostalgia trip about North Bay.

The KIA Sportage fleet began with a new one in 1996, silver, far left. I paid over $40,000 for it because I didn't understand "balloon" financing and was in a rush to go fishing that weekend. Paid for itself with 250,000-km of hockey and baseball tournaments. See comments about other two ... #cars

My second new car was a 1996 Saturn bought for $20,000 in North Bay, Ontario ... twice the price of the Dodge Colt. My first dog, Maki, was a beauty husky mix of Samoyed and Siberian. He loved to sit on the roof... It lasted almost 10 years and had 330,000 km on it.

My first car was a 75 Mustang bought used in Vancouver for $1,200 in 1989 ... drove it across the Rockies and back three times before motoring all the way back to North Bay, Ontario ... sold it for $900 when I was too broke to fill the tank. #cars #autolife #nostalgia
