And last night I finished FTL.
Kind of happy and proud that I did it. But at the same time it feels a bit weird. The game has been my (almost) daily companion for the past 2 months.
Meybe I'll try and do everything on Hard at some point but right now there's enough other games waiting to be played.

Was on a good pace, but two ships and some ship specific achievements gave me a bit more trouble than I anticipated.
Still: Only 2 ships and 3 total achievements left!
Could theoretically try and power through it today and still get it done before Christmas.

By now I wen't from being sure I can do it this year to maybe even managing it before Christmas.

First time I tried: Gave up after getting to the final boss.
Second time I tried: Got a win on Easy and one on Normal, then ran into a wall with a third ship and gave up.
And now I already managed to get 8 more wins on normal. So I'd say it's going pretty well! 9/28 ships done so far.

First time I tried: Gave up after getting to the final boss.

After a bit of a break this took me way longer than it should have. Kept making some stupid mistakes and had some trouble with 2 or 3 levels.

Quite a sudden jump in difficulty for 6/14. Took a reasonable amount of time, though.
I think in terms of difficulty people put that on 5. or 6. place, so still a few easier one coming up, but it's mostly the tough ones left.

Unsurprisingly didn't take long to get number 5/14 since it's quite a bit easier.

Slowly they're becoming more difficult. There's still a few left that are on the easier side, but this one already took some more effort than the others.

And as hoped, Squirrel Boy didn't last very long before being replaced. Now those achievements will start getting more difficult, though...

Made a To-Do-list and only have a clue how to proceed for like a quarter of the points on it. Oh boy, this is going to take some time.

Thankfully I could handle the creepiness relatively well.

About half way through the game now and I am approaching a point where I might be a little stuck. While I still have a few things to do I don't think any of those will provide immediate help. #LoreleiAndTheLaserEyes
