I am Yashica Budde, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Southern California. My journey as a therapist has been driven by a deep passion for innovation and healing. Inspired by the emergence of “Rage Rooms,” I embarked on a mission to transform the therapeutic landscape in a way that would offer people a powerful outlet for emotional expression.It all began when I recognized the incredible potential of providing individuals with a space to release their emotions in a healthy and constructive manner. That realization led me to create Smash RX – a sanctuary where people can express themselves freely, without fear of judgment or unnecessary restrictions. At Smash RX, I’ve cultivated a space where energy and frustration can be channeled into something liberating, breaking down the barriers and misconceptions that often surround mental health.But my work extends beyond the world of Destruction Therapy. I also provide a wide range of therapeutic services, including Individual, Family, and Group Therapy. Whether someone is facing depression, anxiety, fear, loneliness, or just a pervasive sense of dissatisfaction, I collaborate with my clients to help them find hope, inner peace, and holistic healing.My academic journey has been instrumental in shaping my approach. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate University. Over the past two decades, I’ve honed a clinical approach that is both holistic and client-centered. I deeply believe in the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit and the power of hope to transform lives. By helping clients challenge and replace irrational thoughts and beliefs, I guide them toward meaningful change and growth.I’m especially passionate about addressing the impact of loss and trauma. My work in trauma recovery focuses on enhancing interventions that foster emotional, physical, and relational well-being. I’m committed to an integrative and dynamic approach to mental health, always striving to provide the most effective support for my clients.Through Smash RX and my broader therapeutic practice, I am dedicated to rewriting the narrative around mental health. My mission is to empower individuals to achieve profound transformation and holistic wellness, one step at a time.
