This went a bit viral on X and I’ll never cease being baffled by people who say « I killed myself in construction for 30 years and didn’t have their benefits so they shouldn’t either » instead of « let’s get ours. »
People underestimate the grind of walking 10k a day with bags hanging off of you for 20 or 30 years. I know a couple letter carriers my age who are broken down like ex pro athletes.
