Depending on what part of the country it's far greater than 40%. In most rural part of the country, the support for the GOP is 70% or higher. With only a 2 party system and no ranked choice, it will remain this way. Don't count on the uninformed electorate to save the USA.

Indeed. Going to take about 9+ months to process the wife's Canadian PR. Once that is done we can 'disentangle' from the US.
