I was disappointed this morning, I like football and it was all going to be on TNT today and I'm not paying for that on top of everything else. So this was a great afternoon in the end watching the fat man get spanked. Also, the little story Selby told in one of those VT bits was great Murphy shade.

Evans popped in my head the other day because of one of those TOTP on BBC4. Billie (before she remembered she had a surname) was on and I remember how it was apparently totally normal that he bought her a Ferrari filled with roses or whatever and married when she was basically still a kid.

Without seeing yet, it will never get the complete 180 opinion switch that OHMSS got, but I'm pleased it isn't just universally panned these days. I remember everyone fixated on the car and I always thought it the least of any problems. Q branch 'would' eventually create that, the ultimate gadget.

Yes yes yes. I don't want to go full nerd but back when that first came out on DVD I had a plasma screen and my player was connected via component, it couldn't have been better. I genuinely thought something had broken in my hardware with all the grain in that transfer.

Whether you ask AI to create an image like that based on a description or whether you ask a CGI artist to create such an image based on a description you give them, at the end of the day what's the difference really. As always with first trailers you hope that a tidy up some things before release.

Opening my TL and working down/back through time has been a journey. People making fun of a nail, who has followed you but blocked on Twitter, lightheaded was going to be hard nips. I couldn't wait to see the genesis, and here I am. It's very cute.

It was awhile back but I seem to remember before the 1994 tournament that US broadcasters were desperate to get ad breaks into it somehow and FIFA wasn't having any of it. I wonder if BBC/ITV will go back to studio/ad break for the drinks breaks or if commentators will just talk (being generous).

Footballers go on about this as well, can tell you about 80 goals over the course of 10+ years. I used to wonder how bands do it, but at least with them if they wrote it and play it often enough it will just stick. Each snooker shot is unique, it is a mad skill.

I remember having this one advent calendar, the proper old school ones, basically 2 layers of card and you would fold back the door each day to reveal a little picture. Then next year do it all again as if it was fresh and exciting. Only 24 doors as well. Childhood in the 80s, what a rush.

Even when you're young you can tell. Obviously I would have been under 10 when I saw this and you can just tell it is special. Even now I can immediately picture that shot of the Falcon moving right to left as it comes up close to the camera and then away, combined with the score, wonderful stuff.

I am perfectly content being a massive hypocrite when Kyran gets camera and/or microphone time. For all the reasons I could list that I don't think it's right that fat boy gets to commentate/be a pundit, they all go out the window if it's Kyran.

I have issues with motability but people choosing whichever vehicle they want and supplementing the cost isn't one of them. They should champion it, it isn't a charity, it makes shitloads of money every year when they publish the accounts. I agree this change appeases people that should be ignored.
