Weird that the bill would "ban everyone under 18 from accessing AI chatbots" and also "make it illegal to operate a chatbot that produces sexual content for minors." Wouldn't the former mean that they'll also make it illegal for chatbots to make ANY content for minors?

Good point. So they’d have to win almost every contested seat in 2026. Or get a few Republican votes. I actually think that could happen if Trump’s popularity gets low enough. Things will get pretty bad in the next 15 months.

The midterms can be about more than just bringing a different balance of power. It can bring impeachments of both Trump and Vance, and indictments of the latter. We don’t have to suffer this decline for a whole three more years.

In a free country we should also be able to put whatever apps we want on our phones without one guy/company standing in our way. The smaller of the many injustices we’re facing these days I know, but still.

Misleading title. There's nothing written here to support limits being discovered. This is just a prediction by the author that, because the business community cares about BLS independence, the Supreme Court will give AF this time. Other institutions' independence mattered too, but meant nothing.

I’m surprised by all the conspiracy theories on here that this was fake. But I’ll also say it didn’t really _shake_ the nation. I remember being surprised at how little of an impression it made beyond people considering its impact on the election.
