These are so good, and that damn cover art man. These rings have been a staple of dj&d, they're either really good in the hands of creative players or hilarious. The ring of steve, ring pop and ring of stealing are iconic.

If the next assassin's creed fails so hard that investors lose money on it, AC would lose its AAA status, E33 as wild as it is was a "safe" enough bet for investors that while not fully garanteed, it was a decently safe gamble to highly pump up their budget. Based on what I've learned in univ.

From an industry standpoint, indie to AAA is just risk assessment, if you can invest unlimited money and make it all back garanteed, it's AAA. E33 had way more investments from third parties than just a publisher. Indie studio != indie game. E33 is AA, and that's fine, just not strictly "indie"

"You shouldn't make art for the money" yeah no shit. They're not making it for the money, but if they want to keep making it they gotta make money Like it's a good advice that should NEVER be told, because they know that, but they gotta pay the bills still, and the least one can do is pay them well!

Pixel art is indeed very tough, high resolution pixel art is like trying to draw how a high res picture would look if you crunched it up to save file size, with the intent of every detail being readable, it's hard as hell, good work on goober dragon it turned out great

The range on that attack, I can already taste the sequence breaking potential for speedrunning, honestly feels like you might actually want to design sneaky cheeky angles being possible just to see if a runner ends up finding ways to snipe those levers from afar for skips.

My friends in the meantime regretting having their notifications on at night because I'm writing a whole thesis at 119wpm in their dms and sending every 3 to 15 words sentences:
