I am an action/racing/sport movie fan and a sometime F1 follower. This movie was not fun, and it makes F1 look bad.

The options were sit on the tarmac for a long time running down the fuel, or sit on the tarmac for a medium time, then fly towards the destination, but take the long way, then fly in circles for a while. We did the second thing. I did not get more airmiles. I did, barely, make my connection.

Yesterday I was on a plane that had been fueled for a distant-er location than we were actually flying - they'd switched aircraft. So we would have had too much fuel to land.
