June, I was a featured artist (the only photographer selected) for “PROUD: The Art Show” for World Pride in DC. My piece “The Cool Kid” is from photo series I did on remimaging HS yearbook photos for Black Queer adults in the ways they always wanted.

In May, my film program cohort & I participated in the DC 48 Hour Film Project & made the Best of DC top 16 films for our short “REEPO DATE”. Nominated for 9 awards took home 5 including top 4 overall films! Peep the cinematographer – it me!

This is now, so by the end of the year, my goal is to reach Mama Judy’s legendary beautiful hair status—dramatic layers and body.

Also, I am focusing on getting back to my fullness and density and overall healthier hair (stress and grief beat my hair and scalp up the last few years)
