Yeah I agree. They're both reacting to the other without either of them being 100% clear about why. Eddie’s comment triggered Buck, but Buck’s comment triggered Eddie. They're both hurt and both their feelings are valid. It's a classic case of miscommunication

Personally I am hoping Mexican and Spanish cuisine will get more popular here. I discovered that I looooveeee some of those foods (especially quesadillas and chicken fajitas)

Though from what I've heard, the meals at Chinese restaurants are usually not Chinese but actually a mix of different countries. But lately Japanese and Indian restaurants have gotten more popular as well I believe. In big cities they have Greek and Turkish but they're not as popular/common

In the Netherlands our standard meal is what we call AVG. Potatoes (aardappels), meat (vlees), vegetables (groente) with gravy (I think that's the English word? The meat juice)

But besides that, pasta, pizza, salads, bami, rice are also common. And Asian take out restaurants are getting popular

There are definitely a lot of racists in the 911 fandom, but I also don't see how simply relating to Buck’s abandonment issues makes people assume you hate Eddie and you're racist. Eddie is one of my favorite characters and I love him so much. I have never hated him
