Thank you Petroc for getting me through a dreadful commute and keeping me sane while I was surrounded by stationary trucks on Dublin’s bybass the M50. Thanks also for introducing to a countless amount of great music, there was always something new. Finally no more 4am starts, you deserve it !

I was once told in a lecture by a trade union leader (forgotten his name? that the automatic washing machine was the liberator of the working class. I think we’ve forgotten just what hard work washing and drying clothes was. And I had a twin tub !
