The titles being so long aren't actually "needless", it's because so many series like this originated as web novels on a site (Shosetsuka ni Naro) that doesn't allow you to include plot description blurbs in the listing, so to attract readers you have to put the entire premise/pitch in the title.

Could be worse. r/QuestionableConent is populated *exclusively* by people who hate the series. That is to say, the people who DON'T 100% hate the series & are on reddit had to split off and make a second subreddit (r/QContent) just to discuss the series with anything other than 100% vitriol and hate

In contrast, Tokusatsu fans generally are fans of the entire Tokusatsu medium. It's why I say I'm Toku fan but not an anime fan, even though I've watched way more anime than Toku in the past year.

The author wasn't actually expecting Willis to actually go down the Dorthy/Joyce route, so the later developments were met with something along the lines of "wow, I was not expecting to accidentally sorta predict the future".

So this conversation lead to someone writing a fic where where Dorthy demonstrates to Joyce by having sex with JOE in front of Joyce, and ends up with with a Joyce-centric Dorthy/Joyce/Joe throuple. It was linked in the comments a couple days later in the one where Sal walks in on Joyce & Joe in bed

IMO the plot point would have been received better if it was the world record in a game that doesn't have a Summoning Salt documentary with extremely precise detail on what would be needed to beat it.

So in the Walkyverse timeline Danny's romantic history is: dates Sal (Walky's long lost twin sister) in highschool, is obsessively crushed on by Joyce (Walky's future wife) in college, and marries Bille (Walky's childhood best friend) in adulthood. It may just be both comics' longest running joke.
