Theory: Anyone interested in watching the National Dog Show likely had a dog at sometime in their life and has a natural bias for a particular breed but also knows any breed can be sweet so they’re not totally opposed to another breed’s win. Brilliant Thanksgiving programming.

One of my worries about the next administration will be our ability to respond to future health crises. Covid will not be the last pandemic, and an anti-vax guy heading HHS does not bode well.

Sometimes I feel ashamed that I watch so much Bravo TV (mostly reality trash) but I also watch/listen to a lot of serious news and have a serious job so I assert that this evens me out and gives me a bit of frivolity

During my week off this week, I’ve accomplished nothing meaningfully productive but
I have binge watched Daisy Jones And The Six on Amazon Prime. Such a good watch!

It would be a hell of a twist if the nomination of someone for public office created a mandatory and public investigation even if they declined the nomination.

I watched the movie My Old Ass a few nights ago and found it deeply moving. The nostalgia is real. I related to that notion of wanting to move away but assuming that home would always be the same and right where I left it. And knowing now how vulnerability opens you up to pain, I’d still do it again
