... — the "punishment" should be redistribution of output, and that can be domestic! If that country has a significant income disparity, maybe the UN "sanction" should be a massive redistribution of wealth away from that nation's rich and to their poor.

8/n No one will ever *need* LLMs. Like no one really ever needs a Lamborghini or a sable fur coat. The sacrifices made by our sheep each late spring should suffice, as should high quality pleasant public transport infrastructure. (et cetera, et cetera).

6/n But international standards go beyond just technology, and there’s no formal arrangement for protecting people who get isolated and introverted and feedback on their own bitterness. The cause of that is not any LLM, it is government austerity programs and all that rot.
