The Lords doesn't have any democratic legitimacy, it's a mechanism for politicians to reward their chums on the public purse.

I’m no political thinker but I wonder if rejoining the EU may be the point of the next election. I can’t think of any other clear blue water issue that separates the parties.

The energy to make it from natural gas and sea water is roughly the same.
It's chicken and egg - not enough people using it as fuel, hence not many people building plants.
Building plants in the UK would likely be more expensive than anywhere else in Europe.

I've had a few MRIs, it's pretty easy to work out what part of your body they are scanning. Below you neck they strap you to the table so you can't move. For your head they give you a cool looking mask and no strapping.
