Spent some times messing around with my little practice cubes before I realized that there isn't a "correct" way to draw a cube from each angle, and now I've figured out vanishing points and perspective grids so much more.

Been struggling to think how to really practice perspective, and I ended up with this! I made a sheet with inlines and outlines, hide one of them and try to fill in the other, then compare to the original image! Hopefully this helps me practice a little!

most of today was spent just figuring out lots of tools like symmetry lines, perspective lines, different kinds of curves, etc, and a heart for cuteness and cause its a little more complex than a sphere haha #artpractice

It's not a sphere! hehe, I was planning to do more perspective style practice, but it turned more into just learning more about Clip Studio Paint tools mostly, and then I decided since it was sitting there I should try shading a cube. I think I did alright!

after 1 week (with 1 day break) learning to draw, I'm honestly surprised how quickly I've started to improve! my goals were simple but I'm really proud of them. I'm gonna need to find something new to practice now, maybe something to play with perspective?

What can I say, it feels like really good shading practice. Today I used an ellipse tool so I could just focus on shading, and I made proper use of layers and WOW it feels like I'm really getting somewhere, gonna do some new stuff soon!

Too tired now so honestly I'm just gonna take it as a rest day and not make too much of a job out of it to the point it takes then fun away, I'll make sure to get something done tomorrow though!

Trying to get a sphere to look 3d, I think I did an okay job? it's really hard to figure out how to improve it >.< I also did a very quick shadow, very wobbly but it looks okay for being pretty rushed today! 30 mins spent drawing today, total, 1 hour 50 minutes
