No, the smooth collie existed before Queen Victoria discovered the breed. But there are many who believe the borzoi are back in the ancestors of the rough and smooth collie.

I’m always happy when someone recognizes the breed.

Tri color smooth and rough collies are stunning.

Same great temperament….less fur!
