I can assure you that I am aware of all of these wrongs and more. You’re not the only educated person in the room. You are employing the “What about…?” strategy that serves only to deflect from dealing with injustice at hand. Let’s deal with what is before our eyes!

Sadly, you are right. Most white Trump supporters voted intentionally, enthusiastically for what is happening— Making America Great (i.e White) Again. Please know that many of us did not vote for Trump, are appalled by what is happening, and are actively fighting against it.

Every Democratic leader should seize this moment to deliver a similar message to his or her constituents!
