I like this, because it's about how I rule OD&D anyway. Double 1s means someone is getting bonked, even if it's a misunderstanding of only one round.

Primary Functions:
"Record": Record any speech or vocalizations within 30' on any supplied scroll
"Copy": Copy any text to a scroll.
"Scribe": If a proper amount of magical ink is available, it will automatically scribe any spell cast into the inkwell. 100 coin and 1 week/ spell lv.
