I would wait & see how good the 5000 series is, and to see the price differences.
But yeah CPU tho, you would have to upgrade the mobo if you want to get a better CPU for either Intel or AMD.

I would Invest in AMD CPU & GPU for optimization reasons.
I would get an AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT (It's the GPU I have) it runs pretty well with newer games. The CPU I would try to get is an AMD Ryzen 7 5800XT.
However, if you do switch over to AMD, you will need a new motherboard for the AMD socket.
