Buyer sounds ominuous, but hopefully you'll get deployed close to home to fully take advantage of your regional knowledge. On the lighter note, are you currently located far from your home? Would you be even able to visit your home on leaves?

If you have any idea of what you would prefer doing and what you know you could do, be it medic/ drone pilot/ radioman/ signaller/ artilleryman, say it clearly to your instructors and ask what are the requirements and how you could apply towards that role. Hopefully you get a good role.
