This whole event truly felt seismic, a cultural shift if you like. I’m sure most will take a piece of that moment, those moments and carry them through and into their wider lives.

Sharing this with my daughter and son was literally priceless.

From the moment we arrived on the concourse, the excitement that strangers exuded was palpably for each other. We must have had 30 or more of the kindest, most joyous conversations I have ever experienced, with people from every conceivable "label."

Coming from a devout Catholic Celtic upbringing, the symbolism of reunification, resurrection, reconciliation, reformation, and redemption was not lost on this little atheist.

Every age, class, race, faith, political and sexual persuasion joined in one extraordinary communion with each other.

Last night, 90,000 souls joined the Wembley Oasis 26th July Cathedral Choir and what a choir it was. In my fifty years of gigging, I have never experienced that much shared joy, kindness, and pure solidarity.
