Well, today we signed the paperwork and I now officially live in Minneapolis. What I am really excited about is that I have only a 15 minute walk to work.

Hüsker Dü's new live album "1985: The Miracle Year" is sooooo good. It is an auditory explosion, almost an aural attack, forcing their righteous tunes into your brain. Highly, highly recommended. It makes me all the more jealous of @freealonzo.bsky.social who saw them in concert many times.

Owámniyomni Okhódayapi just announced the Dakota-led design for the restoration of five acres at Owámniyomni (St. Anthony Falls), adjacent to the Upper Lock on the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. Project construction is targeted to begin in spring 2026. Very exciting!

A new restaurant called Two For Tripping is moving into the old Annie's Parlour spot. It will be an espresso and breakfast spot with a hockey theme, apparently. I'm glad its not a chain. Keep Dinkytown interesting!

I really enjoy this interstitial time with some maple trees in the fall, when they still have some green leaves along with red, orange, and yellow. Beautiful.
