I find it fascinating, if not entirely surprising considering how long No Man's Sky has had to sit and steep in Existential and Nihilist philosophy, that they converged at the same Paradox Immanence I engage with, complete with an externalized vision of its universe expanding a nihilist determinism
There is a sharp, sudden pain as something incorporeal pierces my palm. Color floods the scaffold as (written in gold) gold, (written in void purple) glass, and the (written in Atlas red) crimson of my own blood merge and freeze within the delicate crystal lattice.

Writing a cover letter for my funny little piece of writing, in case I find a publisher that might be open for submissions and interested in the weird, experimental nature of my writing:
Synopsis: A pocket map of a shattering, what arose from the dust—and how it crawled out singing. Bio: I'm a trans person who had an ego death experience a few years back; it inspired an attempt to capture an experience too intense for translation. This is a vivisection of my soul taken on the most impactful day of my life—painstakingly reconstructed as simultaneously a fictionalized account, a metaphorical tapestry of the philosophy springing from it, a koan exploring the nature of identity, a ritual tool to analyze the world using those beliefs, and a exploration on the limitations of language and the human need to transcend them. It is intentionally dense, attempting to use every word and symbol to carry multiple meanings and—through weaving semantics and metaphor—paint a portrait of person in the middle of a re-creation. It is a textual mandala, burning as it is printed. It is, simply, me.

I've been reading The Employees by Olga Ravn lately; it's interesting — Id describe it as Welcome To Nightvale's eldritch-capitalist absurdity but translated into a future post-Earth spaceship society, the whole book being composed of short recordings of the "Employees" being interviewed
