On the #godotengine "support multiple screen sizes" (phones) grind. The one control node I'm longing for is a growable/shrinkable AspectRatioContainer - good thing it couldn't be easier to implement!

Threading? Background loading? Nah, just play a 2 second splash screen animation and load a little bit of data every frame. Sure hope each block is small enough to not drop frames 🤞 #godotengine

Blown away by the #godotengine performance improvement from combining a couple nodes into one node's `_draw` call. This custom UI scene replaced a few ColorRects and TextLabels, which somehow worked out to a 10x speedup when adding this node to the scene tree. #godot
