We’re survivors after all. and maybe one day, there will be more past just surviving. One day, maybe I’ll thrive.

That and my mom’s cooking. Chat, she cooks so good! She keeps making so many childhood favorites, and even though she’s a little pissed at me for leaving in the first place, she’s still making sure I’m good. Caribbean moms. Complicated women who continue to give me strength even when life sucks.

I can’t say I *miss* my old life, but it’s a bit of a bumpy start to this chapter. Anxiety disorder coming back in full swing, and my other fun issues are getting triggered but, so far, I’ve been holding it together pretty well. I’m really proud of myself. And right now thats enough to keep going.

And!!! Shout out to me in particular for being so on top of kitty care! It’s hard cause they’re stinky and I have sensory issues, but!!! I’m such a pro, and they get to have a nice clean space. I also have them on a schedule for food now and they’re so very cute when they know it’s time for food
