Everybody was telling fun stories about their families around a fire tonight and the first one I thought of was when my mom got pistol whipped. Not because it's a fun story, but I can't think of fun ones. We mostly tell awful stories and laugh about how awful the story is.
Yeah basically. He said it was an accident and apparently the cop said if the guy had died there in the parking lot there would have been "a lot more paperwork and shit to deal with". So I assume there wasn't jail time or anything. Truly insane thing to tell anybody much less do.
This kind of conversation is not rare in my industry. ESPECIALLY when it comes to homeless people. Heard lots of people talk about wanting to kill homeless people, though this was the first time someone had actually done it
It's cool living in a liberal bubble with people who all work from home because they're like, "I think people are mostly good deep down" and this morning my boss happily/jokingly told me about the time he ran over a guy sleeping in the parking lot who died in the hospital from it.
