My guess is the first year or so will be cross-gen titles since there's no way Nintendo would just cut off 146 million users. We probably wont see games take full advantage of it until 2027 or so.

Honestly If this acquisition was to happen, I think Nintendo would just find another developer for the series like they did when AlphaDream, the series' original developer, closed down in 2019.

Exactly. I think Nintendo saw that if they were going to try to go for a hybrid system, then it had to be fully playable away from the TV as much as when connected to it.

The Wii U was definetly underrated but honestly, I think it's failure directly lead to the Switches Success, which ended up having most of the WiiU's strengths and alot less of its weaknesses.
