Oh man I relate 100% to the game-hopping thing, I always wish I weren’t that way 😞. Thinking back though I think I finished around 8 titles as well, so that feels good in hindsight!

It’s really crazy the difference a measly 2” makes!! The first crt I bought was a 32” d-series… but I doubt I’ll get a tv over ~20” again.

Yeah it feels like such a bleak concession to the idea that YouTube videos are content that will be thoughtlessly waded through; perish the thought someone might place a short unscripted segment into their 45min+ video essay for a reason!

If you use YouTube revanced, they have a feature like this that shows a button and/or auto skips sponsors, credits, and “tangents” using a crowdsourced database. I tried it once and immediately found it very crude and counterproductive. Sad but unsurprising that YouTube is copying this 🫠
