Artist dabbling in games, 3d modelling and printing, 2d art, programming, and video editing.
As a person who has edited in Premiere and AE, Blender is a good editing tool, especially in version 4+. There's always Divinci Resolve.

Forgive me if this is deeply incorrect, does setting the mapping to Industry Compatible in Blender not give you the expected behavior from Max?

As a person who has gone through it multiple times, I can say this take is true, in being ok with the donut result. Only time in Blender has granted me comfort in it.

I feel it functions better as an introduction that gives language to ask questions to many different paths that exist in blender.

I as a random person on the internet believe you can learn it. The horizon is vast but with a focused direction you can reach it.

I mean the harder question is how do you change your expectation of what you want to sound like. The cringe is the emotional pressure to change.

We hear what you've given and we love it. An uplifting sound, a joyful wink, a safe campfire to rest at. It doesn't need to change but can.

I revisit Empowered often. Love your Titan's oneshot. Grand Mal was one of my first graphic novels.

I'm happy to see you on bluesky.

And I'm seeing how because of the internal springs how all of the vertexes want even spacing, so the geometry will end up in whatever shape will allow each vertex to maintain that. So regardless of the original shape the vertexes are in.

So subdividing a cube will result in a sphere.

I think I'm starting to see it. On internal springs, a small max spring length stopped the odd behavior of the 0 (infinite spring length) value. It seems like the expanding behavior is from using changing pressure with a pressure scale higher than the pressure number.

Do you have any references you can direct me to for replication of the cloth and gravity setup?

Yeah, there has been a lot of UI and feature upheaval since 2.8. I would say mostly for the better. A solid common complaint it that Blender's UI is not intuitive. So, we've been seeing them work to make it more accessible to new users, including me. It does make tutorials, interesting.
