How about adding Lewis Carroll’s “The Hunting of the Snark” (snrk.de/snarkhunt) to your next list? Henry Holiday‘s illustrations even provide us with a Yoda in public domain (snrk.de/snarkhunt/#3...).

In one of Henry Holiday's illustrations to "The Hunting of the Snark" (1876, by Rev. C.L. Dodgson aka Lewis Carroll), a hidden depiction of Thomas Cranmer's hand in the flames can be found.

Nice, but "i'm not crazy. My reality is just different for yours." is from a movie. You won't find it in any of Lewis Carroll's writings.

There is a reason that Henry Holiday only depicted 9 Snark hunters (plus the two ladies "Care"and "Hope" added by him) in his Snark illustrations.

There also is a reason that Lewis Carroll spent quite a few lines in the preface to explain portmanteaus (snrk.de/snarkhunt/#p...).

I'm now digging into the game. As an engineer, I said and heard RTFM often enough, so here we go:

JJ Secker allowed me to put the rules in public domain:

The bird site is full of "Carroll" misquotes. Bluesky is catching up. The bright side of this: The amount of such misquotes perhaps is an indicator for the popularity of a platform. 😉

My little Carroll library snrk.de/some-texts/ might help to check Carroll quotes.

As for Carroll, there also is something to be read about facts besides the fiction: Katherine Wakely-Mulroney: The Man Who Loved Children: Carroll Studies’ Evidence Problem, Journal of the History of Sexuality, Univ. of Texas Press, Vol. 30, № 3, pp. 335-362, 2021, www.academia.edu/67147027/The...

As for classical Art, Trump probably wouldn't appreciate this too much either.

There were no pornographic photos of the Liddell sisters found in Dodgson‘s belonging.
