Went into a bike shop staffed by all men. Chatted, asked questions, seemed a little awkward but no more than usual. Then stopped at a coffee shop sfaffed by all women. The barista immediately said "Oh, you have a little lipstick on your teeth."

Having a senior dog is an emotional rollercoaster. Today we had to feed our other two dogs first while we hosed poop off of him in the yard. They didn’t eat right away and I thought they were just nervous. We brought the old man back inside and fed him...and then they immediately started eating. 😭

She excitedly asked me what I got (The River Has Roots, obv) and showed me her sequel to Killers of a Certain Age. We happily geeked out for a moment and then parted ways! #BookSky

The fact that "The River Has Roots" by @amalelmohtar.com and "Oathbound" by Tracey Deonn are releasing on the same day means I am coming down with something on March 4, 2025 and I don't think I'll be able to make it in to work that day. I might even still be sick the next day, too.
