US elections are held on the state and county level. The national government has nothing to do with them. Trump does not call them like in a parliamentary system or otherwise order them held; states do so without direction from the federal government.

As someone who lived through the lead up to Iraq: this administration has done 0 work selling this war. 2003 and now could not be more different. No one wants this. Don’t assume it will automatically be popular just because Trump wants it to be.

It will never not be funny to me that one of his chief complaints was having to consistently show up for a 8 hour work day.

I'm glad my parents left the Catholic Church and joined the Episcopalian Church as it's a much better fit for them, but I will admit this pope is creating just absolutely stellar content.

No. There is no mechanism the GOP has to cancel US elections. uS elections are state and county run. There is nothing they can do to stop California or any blue state from having elections

You’re vastly overestimating the appetite of independents and Trump’s own base this this (Trump’s original appeal was in part his isolationism). Though apparently, so is Trump.

It reminds me of Trump in that people assume there's some grand scheme behind it all, but my suggestion in both cases is that both groups are just incredibly incompetent and blinded by arrogance.

Of course he recorded everything. A good 1/3-1/2 of that article was direct quotes from either Wiles or other administration officials. Where did she think he got it from? I'm sure every bit of that article was thoroughly fact checked.

The child actor who did that scene did such a compelling job that he reportedly scared the crap out of all of the adult actors. They were genuinely unnerved by his performance.
