sometimes a stroke is easier to get right if the canvas is flipped. Sometimes (very rare) my rough sketch will look good enough on the first try that I just line art it immediately.

Both of these I have seen as proof enough that an artist is a fake and a fraud. I think I'll just stay coding man

SSDs are (in my experience) much more reliable *but* come with the caveat that the data can decay if you go multiple years without powering them on. In a pc this shouldn't be an issue though

my paraphrased code even got rid of recursion (possible stack overflow at the mercy of the parent hierarchy defined in the fbx file).. assuming fbx doesn't impose a limit, I literally have no clue but now there's a safety net *and* less strain on the stack from nested function calls
