Hypothetical beliefs are irrelevant. If UA had a working nuclear deterrence, it would have made RU to be way more cautious. If the US abandons NATO. The French nuclear arms program will be expanded by adding EU states funding it. If threatened with nukes that will not be answered you loose.

And RU wouldn't have dared to risk an attack on UA if UA retalliates with nukes. Sure it can destroy UA, but to for RU to risk getting annihilated by a much smaller country simply isn't worth the prize at all. Risking its own downfall for a small prize to win. No way. It doesn't make any sense.

The countdown has started for when congress and Trump's own Adm. will invoke the legal mechanisms to remove Trump. Vance and Rubio must have reflected on it by now. Will they join the madness or save the West? This weakens the US, splits the West, causes financial havoc and it's simply deranged.

Nevertheless, we are were we are and an independent nuclear arms program within EU seems like a deterrence worth to boost and enhance for all of the EU going forward. We can't just sit on our hands waiting for the next 3 years to pass, while hoping for something better after that in the oval office

Trump is on a journey that less and less of his administration, GOP and followers see the logic of. The current route causes seious and pointless damages to the US as well as weakens the US and the West facing RU and China. At some point Congress and his Adm. will invoke the mechanisms to oust him.

Greenland is one of three countries within the Danish Kingdom, DK. The DK is an EU member, but Faroe Islands and Greenland are not members of the internal market. However since DK is an EU state, Greenlanders are EU citizens since they are DK citizens living in a part of an EU state.

If Mike plays it down like this he knows Trump will have to stand down and he tries to establish a way out of the madness. But it's most likely over before this year is over. Either Trump will be removed from office by Congress and his own Government or the mid-terms will take care of it.

No "wunderwaffen" will save Russia and still maybe Solovyev is right. With the SMO fiasco draining Russia, the named countries may indeed become tighter but under Beijing, even with the Far East/Siberian parts annexed by China at some point down the timeline of the RU decay process.

Not to spoil the moment, but Sweden invaded Denmark after the battle of Leipzig 1813 against Napoleon and wrenched Norway from Denmark. Norwegians were not happy so they declared independence 1814 at Eidsvoll and was invaded by Sweden and forced into a union with in 1814. So not 1811, 1814.
