Yeah I've seen them since and respect to both Romero for sticking with the slow depressing 70s vibe well into the 80s and Hooper for going full 80s with his sequel

I didn't watch many horror movies as a teenager but one that I did watch was the 2000s Texas Chainsaw reboot which did not encourage me to seek out more horror movies so I don't know if that's the goal lol
