Heresy-era Death Guard are a simple scheme, and it feels nice to get an entire unit, or even a vehicle, done in a few hours.
Being from 7th, I like the rules, but it doesn't feel like "real Warhammer" without the Xenos armies...

Took a break from painting an ungodly number of cultists to bang out a #warhammer Salamander as a local contest demonstrator.
New recipe made this so much easier than my old ways. I'm excited to get back to my OG boys after a long trip around the rest of the hobby.

Knowing I still have 39 more models to paint and 1 that's perpetually out of stock is... sobering. I'm hopeful that "nobody looks at your hordes" holds up.

The worst parts right now are hazard-striping and even griming. Next set will have more basing efforts, hopefully.

My next Warhammer army's going to be Iron Warriors. I thought it would be cool to give them a "mud, blood, and crud" look, but I could only finish one torso for now.

Wrapped up the Escalation League for Warhammer 40k yesterday by fighting off a Daemon Primarch and his cronies!
I ended up going 3-0 with what sounds like a commanding points lead, but we won't know the overall results for a while.

So there was no way I was gonna pay 40 bucks for some Warhammer datasheets, especially when I already had most of the profiles drilled down. But at the same time, I kept forgetting units' special rules...
I also finished my Jump Intercessor squad. Not a huge fan of this kit, but it will do.

Today saw the last stand of the Deathwing Company.
They thought my Salamanders were Fallen because my green's a little too dark.
So they saw who was truly the Warhammer Forty Thousand.

This was 750 points against Space Wolves. I felt bad because I wiped almost half of his points off the board turn 1... And then we spent the rest of the match trading heavy hits like that.
It was close. Murderfang was the last man standing, but I won through objectives.
