We'll see how people feel if wages remain stagnant and prices continue to climb. That's when voters look for alternatives. NDP must have a strong leader who says the right things. Time will tell.

In 2024 China put in more solar capacity than the rest of the world combined. 50% of the cars in China are now e-cars. The world is moving on, and there will be less and less demand for oil and gas. A barrel sands oil costs $40 to $80 a barrel. It's also more expensive to refine. We can't compete.

They certainly have a flair for the work, but don't dismiss the others. The BC NDP under Horgan and Eby built a very expensive dam (on shale who knew?) that they swore wasn't to electrify LNG, but guess what was just announced, electrified LNG! Then there's the militia breachmedia.ca/rcmp-unit-co...

I do not like the idea of this police unit. We have a lot of good reasons to oppose fast tracking environmental rules.

I'm really hoping Avi Lewis will become the leader of the NDP and get us back to a ghe old-style NDP. He's saying all the right things. I nevertheless was a fan of Horgan.

Yes, they do. Don't get me started on those provinces medicals.

Is it just me, or are all the right-wing premiers just the best at spending taxpayer money on things that don't benefit those taxpayers?

I like Eby more and more. Go away Smith, there's no profit in your projects, that's why private companies aren't interested. It is right for Eby to say no, to your projects, us British Columbians don't want them, or the debt we will incur.

Propaganda has been very effective in twisting and bending that word into something it isn't. The less we spend on creating great public schools, the greater the chance young Canadians will never understand the true meaning and benefit of socialism.

I would like to know why Poilievre seems to think he could make a better deal with trump. What would he give to get that deal? What would we lose to make a deal? I hope we never find out.

Our tax money benefitting us taxpayers, that's how it should be. I guess I'm a socialist, so much better than being a greedy capitalist who thinks the working class just exist to benefit them. How dare we form unions, want good wages and safe working condition when it hurts their bottom line.

The more we allow bad behavior, half truths and out right lies by some politicians, this problem will continue to get worse. It's already the social norm in America. We are better than that in Canada.

We need Canadian owned media. We can thank Harper for starting off this American ownership of Canadian media. The question is, how do we fix it? Stopping all tax breaks for none Canadian news media would be a good start.

Exactly, and given time-span from planning to operation (@10years) before a drop of oil actually flows it is a financial and environmental disaster.

Yes, we'll end up paying and cleaning up for years to come. I'm tired of being used by politicians as a piggy bank for wealthy corporations.

If trump thinks betting on oil and gas is the way to go, you know, it definitely isn't.
