I’ve shared concerns about this development in my public & personal capacity. The current proposal doesn’t meet stepping down rules, threatens traffic chaos impacting users of Guys Cancer Centre & as it sits on the southern side of a street means £3M of developer levies are lost. It must be revised.
Great to meet @rachelbentleyld.bsky.social @juthmanukueku.bsky.social & David Noakes
Thank you for your support at this critical time.

I'm fortunate to have read an early copy and, as you would expect from Pete, this is a great book telling an important story. Strong recommend.
I was born into a city where housing was affordable. But I've grown up into one where it was not. What has gone wrong in London over the last 35 years? And where is it going in the future?

My new book, Homesick, tells that story. Out Sept 25

Once a Norfolk dream, now a seaside nightmare. Heacham’s beach hut owners are trapped by rising fees, sewage warnings, and a council that won’t budge. “Very cross” doesn’t begin to cover it.

Once symbols of seaside joy, Heacham’s beach huts have become unsellable burdens. Now a toxic mix of rising fees and foul water is tearing this community apart
