I’ll leave you with another photo of Bonnie. Instead of rabies, she will get many more pup cups in the future. While this isn’t the exact area of public health you focus on, I want to make the built environment more amenable for pets!

I'm going to make sure my parents got Bonnie vaccinated for rabies. I'm pretty sure they have, and I know rabies is fairly rare. But considering how horrible a way to die that would be, if there's even a 1/1,000,000 chance I could prevent it, it's well worth it.

I thought this was Australia at first, and then I saw a sign with a currency symbol. It was a good catch. Of course, given that many of the residences seem gated, that should have been another sign.

I went to Ireland back in June. The Connemara region looks kind of similar, except even greener.

It might be 20 degrees cooler than yesterday, but Bonnie still loves her vents! Maybe she should play Among Us!

Spotted this near the Kennebunk rest area in Maine. This just made me cringe. And I'm not even Canadian, but can't Democrats read the room?
I apologize if I talk too much about this. I just really don't want to be an accessory to such a stupid and heinous war, and I don't blame Canadians at all.

Random fact of the day: In the original Pixar Cars movie, Luigi’s license plate number displays the approximate coordinates of the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy. I’m no cinephile, but I love those freeze-frame moments that you risk missing if you blink at the wrong time.

I don't know if I believe in reincarnation. I'd certainly like to. What I'm even more certain of is that if reincarnation is real, I hope this is where Padfoot (2012-2024) ended up. This place (Connemara region of Ireland) literally looks like it could be "heaven on Earth" for a dog.

This paragraph is from Chapter 10 of Heaven's Gate. I want to believe this is what's going to happen with Amazon's Showrunner.

Here's a scene I just wrote for "Heaven's Gate" featuring a dog and her erratic owner. It's told from the dog's perspective. CW: Mention of firearms.

Same. I wanna believe in reincarnation. Maybe the dog I had from 2012 to 2024 is in Ireland. For a dog, it would be a fitting place for the universe to put “heaven on Earth.”

In an average human lifespan, each of these spikes might grow a few centimeters at most. We're so insignificant relative to these caverns.
There's also a castle in the nearby town of Predjama that was built into a cave. That's pretty cool too.
