I also love the dice rolling system in it. It's super simple but makes it feel like the luck is always in the hands of the players. The GM doesn't roll at all. The player rolls on offensive and defensive checks and gets benefits or detriments based on it.

Well lead is usually resistant somewhat. Certain scrying spells in D&D can't pass through even the smallest layer of lead, so I don't see why not then.
