The second reason I've never considered an EV is Tesla. Subscriptions, pay-to-unlock "features" already built in to the car, safety issues, no dedicated climate controls, etc. Don't even get me started on Elon.

Toyota is the way to go. I have been eyeing the new facelift models, particularly the limited trim. Would be an excellent upgrade to my Corolla hatch.
Saw one from the side the other day and mistook it for a Tesla.

I mean, a full tank of gas costs the same regardless of fast you pump it. You're paying for the total electricity drained, not how long you were using it for.

I never have considered a full EV until seeing this thread.
Hybrid, yes, but a full charge in the same time it takes to pump gas? That's a no brainer.

Just left work early to scout the route home for a coworker because they were on their same street.
