Because currently at +2 fc on hit there’s a very annoying mind game of if you’re opponent is going to d.jab, sidestep or just block, and it would be nice to be +4 on hit so you can fairly safely go for a fast mid.

This will still allow it to be a useful defensive mechanic but you will have to use it strategically and risk getting sidestepped if you become to predictable with it. I think to compensate for the nerfs you could also increase the advantage on hit.

This will make the decision to use it during a combo to extend your wall carry and pressure during oki a lot more complicated, since you will have a very short time to access heat, but you’ll still be able to cash out during your combo with heatburst->heat dash.
