yeah, if you haven't already i would double check with the schedulers if it was put in as the correct appointment type. then see if you can get in contact with their billing department

from what you said, that should absolutely be within the post-op period either way (assuming this is in the US)

how far out from surgery are you? i schedule for orthopedics, and for us it only ever covers 90 days after surgery
either way, it might have also been entered as the wrong visit type? in our system, "post-op" appointments aren't charged while "follow ups" are. the billing department can change that

this is why when i first start chatting with someone, i send them a gif of kirby or another character i like waving. it helps to see how they react
