Yakuza games are the best. Love MMOs. Achievement hunting keeps me going. Wanna play Mahjong?
EA Sports PGA Tour

Golf games are always an enjoyable time. Recent years they've been using the analog controls for swings, which I'm not a huge fan of, but the 3 press option still exists. Can make some real scary looking people in the character creator. Simple achievements for the most part.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

An old incomplete knocked out and a fun time doing it. DD1 is a really cool game. Now that I've seen the true ending, a lot of stuff in DD2 falls better into place. I really appreciate what this game was trying for, even if the tech holds it back at times.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

Oblivion with a very pretty new coat of paint, including both the good and the bad. A fun time but once the luster wore off and I realized it was just the game I've played many times before, I knocked out the quest-lines fast. Dang good looking though.

Blue Prince

An astounding game. Strong as both a rogue-like or a deep puzzle game, and the way it mixes the two is extremely satisfying once it clicks. Lotta mysteries still in the game but they require someone smarter than I. The challenge runs for the achievements are so fun and intense.

Batman: Arkham Asylum (GOTY)

Meant to wrap up outstanding achievements for the non-GOTY version, learned that this version has it's own achievement list (though 100% the same). Still though, an excuse to replay the game was welcome. It still holds up completely, especially that combat.

Dark Souls (Xbox 360)

Fun to revisit this after recently playing Elden Ring and Sekiro. It was more rigid feeling than I remembered but it was still a really fun time. Happy to have another longstanding incomplete wrapped up. Still an active online presence too! Bed of Chaos remains awful.

Assassin's Creed Shadows

A great game. Really liked the playable characters, with Yasuke being the standout. The combat was really fun and both of them felt varied in form and function. Game looks beautiful, some amazing weather effects and seasonal changes. Story thoughts will follow.

Assassin's Creed Shadows is so fun, I love this game.

Dynasty Warriors 6

This game is bad. I've enjoyed a lot of Musou games over the years, new and old. DW6 is probably the worst one I've experienced. The Renbu system makes combat a drag. Glad to have another old profile game done, but this one was a painful grind. Zhuge Liang still rocks tho.

Yakuza 0 (Windows Version)

Learning the Windows versions of older Yakuza games have their own unique achievement lists was a gift (and a curse to my spare time). Yakuza 0 is my 1st and favorite Yakuza game, and favorite video game in general, so another excuse to play it was very welcome.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Such a cool game that I've played quite a lot over the years, on various platforms. Likely in my top 3 From games. The style and gameplay of Sekiro is so damn good once it clicks. Achievements were simple, though all skills took more XP grinding than I expected.

Genesis Noir

Wasn't sure what to expect with this, just kinda fired it up on a whim years ago for 5 minutes and decided to play it properly now...and I was super impressed. Fantastic visuals and a rad style, a really perplexing narrative, great sound design. It was really captivating.

Avowed

Really neat game. Fun first person rpg combat, a really neat world to explore, great visuals. Bugged quests resulted in needing a quick second playthrough, but it wasn't too bad. Don't think I liked the companion system much, but I don't think companions work well in FPS RPGs ever.

American collector's edition for Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii arrived. Was expecting a fancy box/chest like the Japanese counterpart, but that's ok. The Goromaru flag, Majima standee and coin rock. The eyepatch is notably lower quality than the one from the Japanese CE. Still, more RGG stuff is good!

Genshin Impact

Thanks to cross progression I had a good chunk of Genshin done already, but I still needed to do weekly rep for the various cities for a few months. Game itself is real good, a great open world to explore and the world building is quite enjoyable. Paimon is good peoples

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

Amazing game. Feels great playing as Majima again, and the combat was so good. Sailing was fun too. Story was zany while still retaining the elements that make these games special. Ending got real emotional! Fantastic music. Goro is the best cat.

This game rocks

Japanese collector's edition of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii arrived! It all looks so cool. US collector's edition should be here next week. Can't wait to put them side by side on the Yakuza shelf.

Lawson is doing a "history of Majima" as their lucky pulls, thanks to Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii's release! Fighting the urge to go back and buy many more tickets, the other prizes were equally awesome

Little Kitty, Big City

Cute game that was popular with the kids. Didn't fully jive with the controls, they had a bit of funk to them the whole game. Easy achievements. Really good hats! Used the cat meow button to torment my real cats, they were not a fan. Good times.

Prototype (Xbox 360)

My first completion since reacquiring a 360 and games I had started but never completed, Prototype is a weird one. Uninspired open world, almost no story and enemy design that hates you, yet the very awesome traversal skills make for a fun enough time. 100% took 3 playthroughs

Donut County

Not a game for me. It didn't really click for me in tone, dialog, humor or what have you. Quick and easy achievements though, so I appreciate that.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

This game is massive. Was a fun time though, and I appreciated the deep pulls when it came to the references. A nice evolution of the Lego games, as actually playing it felt a lot smoother. I still don't understand what happens in the sequel trilogy movies.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge

Game is fantastic, all around. Such a fun tribute to the old TMNT games while being it's own thing. Love the sound design and music. Great to play local or online co-op. Can also be quite challenging on the highest difficulty.

Maquette

Interesting puzzle concept held back by the execution of said concept being poor and clunky. Didn't like the narrative or characters at all. Eventually skipped cutscenes to not have to hear the two talk. Glad I knocked this out before it gets removed from Gamepass end of the month.
