What’s the difference between a gov controlling an algorithm, silently eliminating reach for things it doesn’t like, vs the same gov using its power, to demand that the platform remove the things it doesn’t like.?

It’s very interesting how the government banned TikTok, forced Elon musk to buy Twitter, and then made best friends with Mark Zuckerberg. It sort of seems like they want to control everything we see and hear. Hmmm…

After about a month or more of lurking, my thoughts on Bluesky. I love the layout and general organization of the platform. The engagement seems as good, if not better, than Twitter was before it crashed and burned. Discovery still has a little to be desired. Hopeful that it continues to improve.
