Welcome! I kept that account going for several months after moving here, just b/c every now and then I wanted to see what the Nazis were thinking, but eventually it became too much, so I deactivated like you a couple months ago. Haven't missed it.

This is true, but I also don't think we should dismiss the possibility that Indiana Repubs looked at Trump's recent appearance and said to themselves: no way this guy makes it to 2027.

Always wanted to hear the full story, looking forward to this one

Good to know, thankfully I have avoided the reddit rabbit hole so far

The fact that Yglesias continues to produce blue background PowerPoint slides is nearly as big of an offense as his opinion on Abrego

Is this mostly on the Nazi site?

I must have done a good job curating my timeline because I'm thankfully not seeing much of it. But I'm sure it's out there.

@arsenalvisionpodcast.com should view that as a challenge for 2026

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but even Trump, as loathsome as he is, has HIPAA rights.

They voted for the end of the constitutional republic when they voted for Trump, it's surprising they would be upset.

The first paragraph of his Wiki page mentions the film "cocktail." "The harder they come" only appears later. WTF?

He's annoying on the pitch, and he plays for that lot, but....

He's one of the few Brazilians openly opposed to fascism

Trying to avoid that

Bro your analysis is good but you are traveling the Yglesias route on social media. I hope that I don't call you Adam Yglesias in 2 years but I'm a bit worried

Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention, but I really wish we would stop using phrases like "somewhat inexplicable."

It's COMPLETELY EXPLICABLE. It's all about owning the libs, even for judges.

"Astoria" by Peter Stark is a pretty good one in this category. I would consider "A Perfect Storm" or Krakauer books to be page turners, but not really history. "Astoria" is at the intersection of the Venn diagram b/c I actually learned a bunch I didn't know before.

Honestly you are letting him off the hook too much with a phrase like moral ambiguity. It's not ambiguous in his mind, he 100% approves of the murder.

Sorry for everything you had to go through in working on that story.
