It is clear from the Home Secretary’s performance on @lbc.co.uk that this Labour Government lacks many progressive thoughts as to how to tackle the causes of crime or reform policing for the future.

It was sad to hear the Home Secretary on @lbc.co.uk promoting the outdated ‘tough on crime’ approach, that has failed, rather than being ‘tough on the causes of crime’.
The HS mentioned in passing prevention, but this focussed on the access to such things as knives rather than the real causes.
